Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo from the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming the final episode of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence using social networks.
